PREVENTIVE MEDICINE
Our goal is to help your pet stay happy and healthy well into its golden years. Preventing your pet from becoming ill is easier and much less costly than treating a disease once it develops. Pets today live much longer, healthier, more active lives just like their human companions. We know that early screening for disease will help keep your pet on the road to health. Annual physical examinations, laboratory screening, and those protective vaccinations that are necessary based on your pets individual exposure to disease are strongly advised. |

LABORATORY
Our in hospital laboratory is equipped for immediate laboratory analysis in a medical emergency as well as for the routine screening of pre surgical patients. We also work closely with a large national veterinary reference laboratory. This lab supports us with overnight results along with excellent veterinary specialist review and consultation services. |

PHARMACY
Our in hospital pharmacy stocks a large variety of medications. Your pets medication will be selected by our veterinary staff for its effectiveness, safety, and ease of use. Prescriptions are professionally prepared and are often ready for you to take home just minutes after your pets appointment. |

DENTISTRY
Is your pet's smile a little dull? Could his breath knock you over? We offer state-of-the-art ultrasonic tooth scaling and sub-gingival scaling, followed by full polishing, all performed while your pet is under light anesthesia. When extractions are needed, this can be done safely and painlessly. Once your pet's teeth and gums are clean and healthy, ask us about home care so you can keep your pet's smile bright! |

BOARDING
We offer boarding for dogs, cats, birds and other exotic animals when your pet needs a home away from home. We have 10 large runs for medium to large dogs, as well as cages for smaller dogs. We have a separate room for cats who are boarding. Boarders should be current on their vaccinations, including Bordetella (kennel cough) for dogs. We will be happy to update your pet's vaccinations, if necessary, when it comes in for boarding. Because our boarding facilities fill up quickly during holiday and vacation times, please make your boarding reservation well in advance.

GROOMING
We can bathe and brush your pet and send it home looking and smelling great. For more in depth grooming and trimming, we suggest Brookview Pet Boutique located in the Golden Valley Shopping Center or Pups & Stuff, a separate business located next to our office. Please schedule your pets grooming by appointment. |

RADIOLOGY
Our x-ray machine and automatic film processing equipment enables us to obtain high quality diagnostic information about your pets condition in a matter of minutes. We have also added a dental x-ray machine to our Greenbrier location which we can use to take radiographs of your pet's teeth while they are in for a dental cleaning to determine if there is advanced periodontal disease.

AVIAN AND EXOTIC CARE
We have a strong interest in the treatment and care of birds, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles and many other "exotic" species. Caring for these pets often requires more time and specialized training beyond that needed for dogs and cats, but we find this area of our practice very rewarding. |

SENIOR WELLNESS
Did you know that dogs and cats are considered seniors at the age of seven? Senior pets are susceptible to a variety of ailments, for that reason we recommend frequent physical exams and labwork. We can recommend any diet changes, medications, or lifestyle changes that can help your pet live a long and happy life. Please ask us about our senior wellness packages! |
